“Wonderwall” by the English rock band Oasis, is still one of the band’s most popular songs. The song was released as the fourth single from the album in October 1995. The single was certified quadruple platinum by the British Phonographic Industry and gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. According to Gallagher, “Wonderwall” describes “an imaginary friend who’s gonna come and save you from yourself.”
