Inspired by the Hip-Hop Fusion Band “AREA-301” (in which Robert Harper is the bassist) comes this compilation of catchy Hip-Hop Instrumental tracks titled “Ride With Me”.
Steering away from the norm (when it comes to bass players releasing solo albums) Robert sets out to indeed take the listener for a ride using various sound effects, heavy drum patterns, and solid bass grooves. Each track on “Ride With Me” employs suggestive narratives throughout that are strategically placed to ensure you get a mental picture of what Robert is conveying in these instrumentals that contain very little or no vocals at all.
