Hello bass players and fans of bass playing! This month, we will cover the popular American Christmas song called “Jingle Bell Rock” by the country singer known as Bobby Helms.

This classic hit has received frequent airplay in the United States during every Christmas season since then. “Jingle Bell Rock” has been performed and recorded by many artists,  but Helms’ first version from 1957 is the best known. The song’s title and some of its lyrics are an extension of the old Christmas standard, “Jingle Bells”.
