In this video, I review and demo the new NS Pulse 5, NS Ethos 5, and the NS Dimension 5 from Spector basses. Each series is available in both 4 or 5-string options with your choice of 2 different colors.

NS Pulse 5

The NS Pulse represents the core of Spector’s iconic design. The three-dimensionally carved body is a trademark of the Spector brand and provides a uniquely comfortable playing experience for all bassists. This NS Pulse 5 and 4 models features a solid Swamp Ash body paired with a three-piece Roasted Maple bolt-on neck, complete with a Macassar Ebony fingerboard. The roasting process results in a neck that provides enhanced stability & resonance, while the Macassar Ebony fingerboard ensures clear note definition and projection. This model is also equipped with EMG active pickups and Spector’s proprietary TonePump Jr. active pre-amp. This combination yields a range of impressive & aggressive noise-free tones. Perhaps the most striking feature of this bass is the sandblasted finish which highlights the unique grain pattern of each instrument. When paired with our Cinder Red or Charcoal Grey stain, the result is nothing short of stunning.

NS Ethos 5

Spector’s NS Ethos range celebrates the brand’s iconic legacy while simultaneously incorporating fresh features that matter to the modern player. The iconic curved body is carved from solid Maple and is adorned with a highly figured Poplar Burl top. The 3-piece Maple neck features a 24 fret Rosewood fingerboard, adorned with a custom Spector logo inlay on the 12^th fret. When it comes to electronics, the NS Ethos employs Aguilar’s premium pickups & OBP-2 active pre-amp for a wide range of usable and musical tones. NS Ethos basses are available in two distinct finishes including Interstellar and Super Faded Back. These eye-catching, high gloss finishes are inspired by our USA Series instruments and lend an extra level of sophistication to these instruments.

NS Dimension 5

Spector’s NS Dimension Series combines iconic design with multi-scale construction, bringing a new level of playability and tonality to Spector’s dedicated legion of players. In addition to the multi-scale, neck-thru construction, the NS Dimension features a variety of premium tonewoods and cutting-edge Fishman Fluence electronics. The fully curved body is carved from lightweight Swamp Ash and features a highly figured Poplar Burl top. The 5-piece neck is constructed from Maple and Wenge for enhanced stability and eye-catching looks. The 24 fret Wenge fingerboard also features illuminating side dots, allowing players to expertly navigate the fingerboard. NS Dimension basses are available in two distinct finishes, Haunted Moss Matte and Super Faded Black Gloss.
