Portland, OR has always been a music hub here in the Northwest. Before the pandemic, there was so much music happening up here that I was never surprised to meet a bass player who had been just across the mighty Columbia River from our office.

One such Bassist is Brett Marquette with the band Forty Feet Tall.

This band got its start in California but transplanted to Portland and has really put down roots. Their sound fits the image of so many very cool Northwest venues and local demeanors. The band’s music has characteristics of multiple genres and is actively pushing the envelope with a cutting-edge collection of tunes.
