Interview With Bassist Eric Whatley…

It’s a small world… We were doing a road trip earlier this year and we spent a few days in Las Vegas. While we were walking on the Strip, I saw a billboard promoting John Legend, who was playing a residency run. I remember wondering, “Who is playing bass for John?” When I got home, I found out that Eric Whatley is holding down the low end for John in Vegas and on tour.

All that said, it is with great pleasure that I have the opportunity to bring you this interview with multi-talented Bassist, Arranger, and Programmer, Eric Whatley!
