Phil Jones Bass is excited to announce that bassist, author, teacher/coach and clinician Patrick Pfeiffer has joined the PJB family as an artist endorsee and Brand Ambassador.

Patrick is the author of the bestselling Bass Guitar For Dummies books which have been translated into several languages and are available in three editions. Will Lee (David Letterman Band) stated that “Of the myriad of tools for bassists, Bass Guitar for Dummies is at the pinnacle of them all.”

Patrick’s performance and recording credits include (among others) Al DiMeola, George Clinton, and Phoebe Snow and notably a sponsorship from The New York Foundation of the Arts for his “Soul Of The City” musical project. He is also the creative force behind Bass Immersion day and in demand as a clinician for bass events such as Gerald Veasley’s Bass Camp. U2’s bassist Adam Clayton said this of Pfeiffer’s teaching method, “Patrick’s teaching technique showed me how to connect the bits of technique I’d collected into a playing style.”

Patrick has chosen PJB’s BP-800 (800 Watt head) along with a Cab-8 and Cab-4 speaker cabinets as his preferred bass rig, and a Nano Bass X4 with Bluetooth for lower volume and practice applications.

About his new gear Patrick states, “The super-fast response and full-spectrum punchiness and focus, along with its bell-like clarity makes the PJB amp and speaker system indispensable for me, an amazing engineering feat that allows me to fully explore the nuances of my basses.”

Established in 2002, PJB and AIRPULSE Guitar Amps are divisions of Phil Jones American Acoustic Development. PJB is dedicated to using the latest technology in the design of compact bass amps, combos, and loudspeakers that achieve maximum fidelity and peak volume. PJB’s accessories category includes effects pedals and bass strings. Phil Jones owns several patents for loudspeaker technology.
