“The song tells the narrative of the story it’s based on and arrives at various dark and heavy corners. It picks in several points during the track and uses choir elements, atmospheric sounds, aggressive guitars and vocals, and more. The main bass Groove was the first thread woven in this track. Although it has gone through different variations, including an electronic-inspired track that is hidden somewhere on Tomer’s hard drive, it arrived at the rehearsal studio to be played with. It took a while, but we finally found the right drum groove that compliments the bassline’s emotion using a half-time feel that keeps it dark and on the other hand the unsettling and intense ride cymbal rhythmic layer.”
