Gear News: Bergantino Re-introduces Beloved Classic Cab – the NV610T

The Mack Daddy is BACK! After a decade, Bergantino Audio Systems brings back the legendary NV610T ‘New Vintage’ bass guitar speaker cabinet.

Bergantino is excited to announce a limited run of this legendary cab the NV610T!  This small-batch, special edition features a black tolex, and upgraded recessed side handles (as featured on Bergantino’s other cabinet offerings.) It also includes a rigid black grille to protect the drivers.

The NV610T cabinet employs a top-mounted tilt-back handle system, tilt-back casters, and full-length cabinet glides, that make loading/unloading, and rolling a breeze.

The cab includes a tweeter in this limited edition, to allow maximum tone flexibility, matched with a custom phase-coherent crossover network that extends the range of this cabinet to 12 kHz.  The variable tweeter level control on the back allows you to dial in exactly how much of the tweeter you’d like included, with turning down completely removing it from the ciWith the cabinet being sealed, the result is a tighter, more immediate bass response. All other specifications remain as original, as Bergantino’s aim is to maintain the NV610T’s legendary tone magic. Ceramic tone perfection…capable of hard-hitting air movement, tight bottom-end, and creamy mid’s. When paired with either an old-school tube amplification or modern Class D amp (such as the new HP2X), the NV610T is at home. It will sit in (or cut through) any mix. It can reproduce that familiar “old-school” P bass thump, and Jazz bass slap tones.  Whether you play R&B, Reggae, Rock, Metal, or Funk…the NV610T will not disappoint!
