Review: Fender Mustang® Micro Plus

Although one of my favorite things in the world is to play in front of my 800-watt Bass amp, there are many times when a personal, headphone kind of amp are needed. Enter the Fender Mustang® Micro Plus guitar and bass amp. This is a new and improved version of the previous Mustang Micro with a lot more features and abilities. I will also mention that there are quite a few similar personal headphone amps out there but I did not see any with all the features this little powerhouse has. I will also point out that if you look this up on YouTube, there are a lot of guitar players raving about it but I didn’t see a single bass video. It is time to put this amp to a bass test.

The sound quality you will get depends on your headphones as well. The Presonus HD7 Phones (available at Amazon.com) worked great and are readily available.
