New Album: David Cooper Orton and Steve Uccello, Ebbw And Flow

Released June 20th, 2025, Ebbw And Flow is an independent, collaborative release featuring compositions by Welsh guitarist, David Cooper Orton, and California-based, upright bassist, Steve Uccello.

This is a digital release on the artist-centered platform: Bandcamp.

The album also features Australian percussionist/composer/educator, Nat Grant-she plays some eclectic acoustic instruments and adds some electronics too.

It also features percussionist John Nava, the band leader of The Latin Jazz Collective with John Nava, which has appeared at The Monterey Jazz Festival on multiple occasions.

The last musical guest on board is “Violoncheloops” from Mexico, he plays an NS Design electric cello along with some electronics.

This relaxing, instrumental record spans over a lot of territory geographically and musically!

Ebbw And Flow was mastered by the renowned Brazilian percussionist/engineer/live sound mixer, Celso Alberti.  Celso has toured/recorded with Herbie Mann, Airto Moreira and singer Flora Purim, Steve Winwood, guitarists Craig Chaquico (Starship) and Joyce Cooling, singer John Lucien, Michael Manring, and tons more!  He gave the record a really warm and inviting texture.
