Hello bass players and fans of bass playing! This month we’re going to study The Hawaiian Scale.
The Hawaiian scale is a seven-note scale. Note that this scale is identical to the jazz melodic minor scale. * The Hawaiian Scale is a minor-sounding exotic scale.
Intervals: 1 – 2 – b3 – 4 – 5 – 6 – 7
Semitones: 2 – 1 – 2 – 2 – 2 – 2 – 1
Formula: Whole, Half, Whole, Whole, Whole, Whole, Half
