New Music: Bassist Anton Gorbunov Releases Full Live Concert Film on YouTube
Hushpeak Studio has released a full concert film by bassist Anton Gorbunov: 100 minutes of original instrumental jazz-funk fusion, recorded live in front of an audience at the Alexey Kozlov Club in Moscow.
Gorbunov — nominated Musician of the Year by Radio JAZZ in 2022 — wrote every piece and arrangement in the program. His big-band album “Wind Rose” came out in 2025. On stage: Peter Ivshin (drums), Anatoly Korchagin (keys), Anton Zaletaev (saxophone), Victor Chaplygin (guitar).
The film contains no talking and no interviews — thirteen chaptered pieces where the bass carries the lead voice.
