Hello Bass Players! This month I have a very cool bass line from an American artist, Pharrell Williams. This guy is a great producer. The Billboard hit “Happy” is from the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack album. Released on November 21, 2013. The song has topped the charts in 15 countries. The song is in the key of F minor in an upbeat tempo.Fig. 1 – Is the verse part of the song with a very interesting and melodic bass line. A great example of space in music.
