Is it possible to do a standalone/extended demo video with a direct input?

Peter Hager I did consider this idea, but how many people only play direct in? Most use an amp and the PJB is the cleanest I have found.

Cool review. Probably would be helpful to hear how it compares with, say, the standard 5 string Sting Ray, and perhaps describe why the one pickup option would be a preference over the HH versions. In any case, thanks for posting your impressions. Cheers!

Thanks for this review. You will be delighted to learn that EBMM heard you. The new line of Stingrays will have roasted maple necks per default 🙂

I’ve owned a few nice ones, but, I cannot justify the extra expense, weight and effort for just four extra notes.

Despite the glowing review, EB will never ‘hit it out of the park’ as long as they insist on making an otherwise incredible bass with a neck thats too narrow, and an annoying G string that’s too close to the edge of the fingerboard as a consequence.
