Houston Texas based Prog Metal band Oceans of Slumber is currently in New Your City recording their upcoming album. As NYC started to open up after the pandemic, I was very fortunate that their bassist Semir Özerkan found a moment to chat with me during his time off while at Central Park. Join me as we learn about his musical journey, which started in Turkey, and progressing into his current dynamic band. As always, we talk about his gear and the band’s plans for the near future.
