Lebanese bassist Michel ‘Labex’ Labaki gives us a preview of his upcoming album “Picky Fingers” with his video PTSD

Labex shared… “Shot in an asylum, the video shows a girl who is constantly haunting the minds of a group of musicians, reflecting the torment of patients affected by Post-traumatic Stress Disorder .Types of events that can lead to PTSD include: war ,serious road accidents, violent personal assaults, such as sexual assault, mugging or robbery. We were trying to show what it feels like to be restrained by a straitjacket, whereas in reality we are actually free. The restraints are invisible, they are only in our heads. And the prison outfits indicates how we are also imprisoned by that pathology. This is the mindset we need to develop: to break free of our chains and move forward.

PS: A link will be placed at the end of the music video taking the viewer to watch the tutorial music video”

Many of you will remember Labex from our cover in July 2013 (VIEW).
