It may seem like I am talking to quite a few bass players from Minneapolis lately, but that definitely has to do with the very vibrant music scene there and an abundance of talented musicians. Zach Sutton plays bass for Hippo Campus, an Indie Rock band that hails from that area. Like many bands, they have seemed a bit quiet during the pandemic but they have been busy working on their material and we are starting to see a lot more of their music currently being released.
Join me as we hear about Zac’s musical journey, his creative process, his gear, and the band’s plans for the future.
