Mi familia se mudo para Puerto Rico en 1970. Fue excitante descubrir una nueva cultura, nuevas comidas y mas importante un genero musical que me era totalmente desconocido, La Salsa! Teniamos bandas locales pero todos aspiraban ser los mejores como los de la Fania. Entre los artistas estelares de esa casa disquera, había un poeta cantor llamado Ruben Blades que relataba las realidades buenas Y malas de America Latina. Sus estrofas y music fueron entre mis favoritos y como todos los jóvenes de ese tiempo, compartiamos los discos entre nosotros para que todos los del barrio pudieran disfrutarlos.
Pueden imaginarse que emocionante cuando pude comunicarme con el bajista Y director musical actual de Ruben Blades, el ilustre Roberto Delgado de Panama. Es con mucho orgullo que les traigo esta entrevista en español con este musico tan excelente y amable.
