You may not be familiar with Victor LIttle but in my humble opinion, you should be. I met Vic while living in the Bay Area about 6 years ago and I’ve been a fan ever since. I’ve long been interested in some of his collaborations with different Bay Area heavies like Paul Hanson and Thomas Pridgen (among many others) and have always wondered when he might put out a disc under his name featuring his compositions and I’m so glad he finally did!
This gives us all of the reasons why Vic is one of San Francisco’s best. Deep pocket, interesting and thoughtful compositions, absolutely wonderful soloing, a STUNNING cast of players (ummmm yeah.. Dennis Chambers, Thomas Pridgen, Joel Smith, Paul Hanson & a ridiculously long list of similarly talented people) and did I mention serious POCKET yet? The long and short of it? This is one of the Bay Areas finest playing with some of the worlds finest… Why wouldn’t you check it out?!
